Cheyenne Gavino was born on February 16, 1994. She trains at Metropolitan Gymnastics in Washington. She will graduate from high school in 2012.
In 2004, Cheyenne competed level six. She won vault at the Flips USA Invitational. She moved up to level seven in 2005. She won floor at the Pajama Classic. She placed second on vault at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2006. She finished first on vault at the Snowball Invitational. Cheyenne placed first on vault and second all-around at Regionals. In 2007, she won bars and floor at the Gym Express meet. She finished first on floor and second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals.
Cheyenne began competing level nine in 2008. She finished third all-around at the Seattle Open. She won vault at the Battle in Seattle. At the State Championships, Cheyenne won beam and finished fourth all-around. She placed third on vault at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed third on beam and eighth all-around. In 2009, Cheyenne won beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She won bars and placed second all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed fourth on vault and third on floor. She finished seventh all-around.
She continued competing level nine in 2010. She won vault and floor at the Battle in Seattle. At the State Championships, Cheyenne won vault, bars and the all-around. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she won vault, floor and the all-around. She placed fourth on bars and beam. Cheyenne began competing level ten in 2011. She finished third all-around at the Battle in Seattle. She placed second on beam at the State Championships. Cheyenne finished second on bars at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.
