Nicole Gendusa was born on February 16, 1996. She trained at Excel Gymnastics through the 2004 season. She then moved to Midwest Elite for the 2005 season. She then moved to Maximum. She began training at Illinois Gymnastics Institute (IGI) after the 2008 season. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2004, Nicole competed level five. She competed at the Northwest Sectional. In 2005, she won beam at the Bravo Classic. She competed level seven in 2007. In 2008, Nicole competed level nine. She competed at the Bravo Classic and Hard Rock Invitational. In 2009, Nicole won the all-around title at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed second on bars at the WOGA Classic. Nicole finished first on beam and third all-around at the Arena Classic. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. Nicole placed fourth on bars, first on beam and third on vault, floor and in the all-around at Easterns.

Nicole began competing level ten in 2010. She finished first on beam and floor at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She finished second all-around. At the King Arthur Invitational, she won beam and the all-around. She did not compete the remainder of the season.
