Ashlynn Gibson was born on September 29, 1994. She trained at North Star Gymnastics until 2005. Since then, she has trained at Zenith Elite Gymnastics. Ashlynn will graduate in 2013.
In 2004, she competed as a level five in TAAF. She finished fifth all-around and second on bars at the TAAF State Championships. She competed USAG level six in 2006. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. Ashlynn immediately moved into level seven in the winter. She finished second on beam at the California Classic. She competed level eight in 2008. She finished first on floor at the TWU Qualifier. At the State Championships, she placed in the top ten on vault and floor.
Ashlynn competed level nine in 2009. She finished in the top ten at the Texas Prime meet. She won vault and floor at the Metroplex Challenge. At the State Championships, Ashlynn placed in the top fifteen. She finished fourth on vault and second on floor. Ashlynn ended her season at Westerns, placing eleventh. She continued competing level nine in 2010. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Texas Prime meet. At the Metroplex Challenge, she won vault. After competing one event at the State Championships, she returned to placed third on vault and beam at Regionals. At Westerns, Ashlynn placed third on vault and fourth all-around. She also placed fourth on floor.
