Gabriella Nguyen was born on July 12, 1993. She trained at Gymnastics Michiana through the 2009 season. She then moved to Phenom Gymnastics for one year. She began training at Legacy Elite Gymnastics in the summer of 2010. She will graduate from high school in 2011.

In 2007, Gabriella competed level eight. She finished fifth all-around at the For Love or Money meet. She moved up to level nine in 2008. She competed at Regionals. in 2009, she won beam, floor and the all-around at the Wolverine Classic. At Regionals, she finished sixth all-around. Gabriella placed third all-around at Easterns! She also placed third on vault, sixth on bars and fifth on beam.

Gabriella began competing level ten in 2010. She competed at the State and Regionals Championships. In 2011, Gabriella finished in the top ten at the WOGA Classic and Arena Classic. She finished eleventh all-around at the State Championships. She placed in the top fifteen at Regionals.
