Carole Gong was born on November 10, 1994. She trains at Club Champion Gymnastics in Pasadena, California. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In the fall of 2005, Carole competed level five. She placed second all-around at the 1st Prelim and 2nd Prelim. She placed first on floor and second all-around at the East Sectional meet. Carole placed third all-around at the State Championships. She competed level six in 2006. She finished first on bars, beam and the all-around at the 1st Prelim. She placed first on bars and the all-around at the East Sectional meet. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around. Carole immediately began competing level seven in 2007. She finished first on floor at the LA Classic. She placed second on bars at the Hard Rock Invitational. Carole placed third all-around at the State Championships. She did not compete in 2008.
Carole competed level eight in 2009. She finished first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Hilton Head Island Invitational and LA Classic. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Surf City Classic. At the State Championships, she finished second on bars. Carole finished fourth all-around at Regionals. She began competing level nine in 2010. She finished third all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She placed fifth all-around at the State Championships. Carole competed at Westerns where she placed first on beam! In 2011, Carole won beam at the WOGA Classic. She finished first all-around at the AOGC Invitational. At Regionals, she placed ninth all-around. Carole placed third on beam and sixth all-around at Westerns.
