Angela Goodwyn was born on June 28, 1993. She trained at Four Star Gymnastics through the 2007 season. She then moved to Frederick Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2011.
In 2002, Angela competed level four. She won the all-around title at the State Championships. She competed level six in 2003. She moved up to level seven in2 004. In 2005, Angela finished second on vault and beam at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2007. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She earned a spot on the State Team. She competed at Regionals.
Angela moved up to level nine in 2008. She competed at the State Championships. Angela opened the 2008-2009 season at the Christmas on the Chesapeake meet. She finished third all-around. At the Maryland Classic, she finished first on floor and third all-around. She won vault and bars at the Jazz Invitational. Angela finished third all-around at the Manhattan Classic. She won the all-around title at the Frederick Classic. She finished first on floor and fourth all-around at the State Championships. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals.
She began competing level ten in 2010. She competed at the State Championships.
