Kyleigh Greenlief was born on October 24, 1994. She trained at Broadway Gymnastics School in California before moving to Texas in the fall of 2010. She began training at Champion Gymnastics Academy. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2003, Kyleigh competed level five. She won beam and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed level six in 2004. She won vault at West Sectionals. Kyleigh immediately began competing level seven in 2005. She finished third all-around at the Golden State Friendship Challenge. She placed third on vault and sixth all-around at the State Championships. In 2006, Kyleigh won the all-around at the Crystal Cup. She placed second all-around at the San Diego Classic and third all-around at the Long Beach Open. At the California Classic, she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around. She finished fifth all-around at the State Championships.
Kyleigh began competing level eight in 2007. She finished first on bars at the San Diego Classic and Surf City Classic. At the State Championships, she finished fourth all-around. She placed second on beam and sixth all-around at Regionals. In 2008, Kyleigh competed at the State and Regional Championships. She moved up to level nine in 2009. She finished second on floor at the Malibu Coast Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed third on floor. She competed at Regionals. Kyleigh missed the 2010 spring season due to injuries. In July, she won beam at the California State Games. In 2011, she finished first on vault at the Ricky Deci Invitational. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won the all-around title at the IGI Chicago Style. At the WOGA Classic, she placed third all-around. She won floor at the Houston National Invitational. She placed third on bars at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won beam and the all-around. She placed seventh all-around at Westerns.
