Ariana Guerra was born on June 5, 1997 to Mark and Christina. She began gymnastics in 2002 at Acrosports Gymnastics. She spent several years training at MGA. She moved to WGA Texans in the summer of 2008. She followed her coach to Stars Gymnastics in the summer of 2010. She began training at Texas Dreams in August of 2011.

In 2004, Ariana qualified to the State Championships in 2006. She competed as a level six at the 2005 South Texas State Championships. She moved up to level seven in 2006. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Svetlana Invitational. She finished third on bars at the Level 7 State Championships. Ariana moved up to level eight in 2007. She won a bronze medal on floor at the WOGA Classic. She placed third all-around at the IGHOF Invitational. She won beam. At the Statewide Qualifier, she placed third on vault. Ariana qualified to Regionals at States.

She moved up to level nine in 2008. She finished second on vault at the Level 9 Regional Championships. In 2009, Ariana began competing level ten. She finished second on floor at the Texas Prime Meet. As a hopes elite, she won the Palm Beach Invitational. At the Level 10 State Championships, she won vault, bars and the all-around. She placed second on beam and floor. At Regionals, she won the all-around and floor. Ariana missed JO Nationals because of an injury. She returned in July to win the US Challenge.

Ariana began her 2010 season strongly. She earned her junior international elite compulsory score at the Sand Dollar Invitational. At the Metroplex Challenge, she qualified for the Visa Championships. Arianna competed at the WOGA Classic as a level ten, winning vault, floor and the all-around. She also competed at the State Championships, winning the all-around crown. She also won bars. In July, Ariana traveled to Chicago, IL for the US Covergirl Classic. There, she placed 19th in the all-around and 8th on balance beam. A few weeks later, she competed at the VISA Championships, where she finished impressive tenth in the all-around. She placed 9th on vault, 12th on bars and beam and 11th on floor. Ariana was named to the Junior US National Team! In November, Ariana was selected to represent the USA team at the Top Gym in Belgium. There, she won a silver medal in the all-around as well as a gold medal on vault and a bronze medal on balance beam.

In 2011, Ariana placed third on vault, uneven bars and in the all-around at the WOGA Classic in the international session for juniors. At the VISA Championships, Ariana placed in the top ten on vault and uneven bars.
