Kjersten Haarberg was born on January 6, 1997. She trained at Cascade Elite Gymnastics during her career.
In 2004, Kjersten competed level four. She moved up to level six in 2005. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. Kjersten competed level eight in 2007. She finished fourth on bars at the Emerald Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed third on bars. She won beam at Regionals. She made the National TOPs Team in the fall. Kjersten competed level nine in 2008. She finished first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Gymnastics in Paradise meet. She placed second on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won beam and floor. Kjersten finished tenth all-around. She made her second National TOPs Team. In 2009, Kjersten won floor at the Byers Invitational. She won beam at the Emerald Team Challenge. She competed on beam only at the State Championships.
