Haley Jones was born on June 14, 1996. She trained at Gymnastics Unlimited until 2006. She then moved to Gymstars Modesto. Haley followed her coach to Gymfinity for the 2010 season before returning to Gymstars Modesto for the 2011 season. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2003, Haley competed level four. Haley competed level five in 2004. She qualified to the State Championships. She moved up to level six in 2005. In 2007, Haley competed level seven. She finished third on beam at the Surf Classic. She finished third on beam at the Roseville Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed third on beam and sixth all-around. Haley continued competing level seven in 2008. She finished second all-around at the Golden Gate Invitational. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at the National Judges Cup in 2009 as a member of Team NorCal.

Haley competed level eight in 2009. She finished third all-around and first on floor at the Winter Invitational. She finished in the top fifteen all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed in the top twenty all-around. In 2010, Haley finished second all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She finished first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Spring Roundup. She finished second all-around at the State championships. At Regionals, she finished in the top ten all-around.

Haley began competing level nine in 2011. She finished first on vault at the Roseville Invitational. She won beam at the Winter Invitational. At the Spirit of the Flame Challenge, she placed third all-around. Haley finished in the top ten at the State Championships. She finished 12th all-around at Regionals. She competed at Westerns.
