Dayah Haley was born on April 9, 1993. She trained at Gym of America through the 2005 season. She then moved to Hill's Gymnastics in Maryland. She will graduate from high school in 2011.
In 2004, Dayah competed level seven. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level eight in 2005. She qualified to Regionals. Dayah competed level nine in 2006. She won beam at the State Championships. She finished third on beam at Regionals. She continued competing level nine in 2007. She won vault, beam, and the all-around at the State Championships. She won vault at Regionals. At Easterns, she won vault. She placed second all-around. She also placed in the top ten on beam and floor. Dayah moved up to level ten in 2008. She finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. She placed second on vault and sixth all-around at Regionals. She finished 28th all-around at JO Nationals.
Dayah finished fourth all-around at the Parkette Invitational in 2009. She won floor at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. Dayah won beam at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished third all-around. She placed second on vault at Regionals. At JO Nationals, Dayah placed third on vault, beam and the all-around! She made the JO National Team. In addition, she placed fourth on floor. In 2010, Dayah finished first on beam at the Tim Rand Invitational. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. She struggled on bars and beam at Regionals.
