Elizabeth Hammond was born on August 23, 1998. She trains at Twin City Twisters. Elizabeth will graduate from high school in 2017.

In the fall of 2007, Elizabeth competed level six. She moved up to level seven immediately in 2008. She placed in the top ten at the Winter Carnival. She placed third on bars and fourth all-around at the Gopher Women's Invitational. Elizabeth moved up to level eight in 2009. She finished fifth all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, she placed third on vault and fourth all-around.

Elizabeth continued competing level eight in 2010. She placed third on bars and in the all-around at the Gopher Women's Invitational. She finished third all-around at the Winter Challenge. Elizabeth finished third on bars at the Rising Stars Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed fourth all-around. Elizabeth opened the 2010-2011 season at the Peppermint Twist as a level nine.
