Heather Hannon was born on May 4, 1996. She trained at DeVeau's Gymnastics through the spring of 2008. She then moved to Sharp's. Heather began training at A Plus Gymnastics in late fall. She moved to Sportastiks in the spring of 2009. Heather moved to Wright's American Gymnastics before the 2010 season. In the fall of 2010, Heather moved to the newly open JPAC. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
Heather made the National TOPs Diamond Team in 2003 and 2004. In 2005, she made the National TOPs Team. Heather competed level eight in 2006. She finished third on floor and the all-around at Regionals. Heather made the National TOPs Team that fall. Heather moved up to level nine in 2007. She won floor and the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. At the Midwest Open, she won bars and beam. Heather finished third all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she finished 13th all-around. Heather made the National TOPs Team for the fifth and final time that fall.
Heather began competing level ten in 2008. She finished fifth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed eighth on floor. She finished 22nd all-around. Heather trained elite in 2009. She narrowly missed making junior international elite. In 2010, Heather finished second all-around at the BIG Dream Classic. She placed second all-around at the Derby Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars, beam and the all-around. Heather finished fifth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed sixth on bars and ninth all-around.
