Ariana Harger was born on March 27, 1996. She trained at Broadway Gymnastics in Los Angeles until the summer of 2005. She then moved to Bay Aerials in Northern California. She followed her coaches to California Gymnastics Academy in 2010.

In 2004, Ariana competed level five. She finished fourth all-around at Sectionals. She continued competing level five in 2005. She won bars and floor at the Dreams of Gold meet. At the Spirals Compulsory Invitational she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around. In the fall, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Hollywood Invitational. At States, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Her score qualified her for the State Team. In the spring of 2006, Ariana swept the gold medals at the San Diego Classic.

She moved up to level six in the fall of 2006. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Tumble in the Jungle meet. At the High-Tech Invitational, Ariana won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the Aloha Invitational. At the Red Line 500, she won vault, beam, floor and the all-around. Ariana won floor and the all-around at the Hollywood Invitational. At Zones, she won vault and the all-around. Ariana ended her season at States, winning bars, floor and the all-around. She once again qualified for the State Team.

Ariana immediately moved up to level seven in the spring. She won beam and the all-around at the Lady Luck Invitational. She again won the all-around at the Gold Country Classic. At States, Ariana won vault, floor and the all-around. She moved up to level eight in 2008. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Wine Country Classic. At the Battle in Seattle meet, she won bars and floor. Ariana finished second all-around at the Golden State Classic and States. She won beam at the latter. At Regionals, she finished second on floor and fourth all-around. Ariana did not compete in any invitationals in 2009. She returned to competition on three events at States where she won a bronze medal on floor. At Regionals, she won a silver medal on floor.

In 2010, Ariana competed level nine. She won the all-around and bar titles at the Red Heart Invitational and Lady Luck Invitational. At the San Diego Classic, she finished second on beam and floor. She won bars and floor at the Battle in Seattle meet. At the Golden State Classic, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. At States, she won bars and floor. She finished second all-around. Ariana won beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals. She ended her season by winning bars and floor at Westerns. She finished fifth all-around.
