Jessica Hawks was born on February 7, 1996. She trained at GymQuarters through the 2007 season. She then moved to Team Central. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2006, Jessica competed level six. She placed third on beam and floor at the GymQuarters Invitational. She moved up to level seven in 2007. She finished fourth on beam at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. In 2008, she finished first on bars and floor at the IGI Chicago Style. She won beam and the all-around at the State Championships. Jessica moved up to level eight in 2009. She placed first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Meet Me in St. Louis meet. At the Gateway Challenge, she won bars. She finished fourth all-around at the IGI Chicago Style meet. Jessica won beam at Regionals.

Jessica continued competing level eight in 2010. She finished first on bars, floor and the all-around at both the Crossroads Classic and Sand Dollar Invitational. She won bars at the Gateway Challenge. At the IGI Chicago Style, Jessica won bars, beam and the all-around. She placed first on bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the St. Louis Classic. Jessica placed first on bars and beam at the State Championships. She finished second all-around. At Regionals, she finished fourth all-around. She won bars. Jessica moved up to level nine in 2011. She finished third on beam at the Circle of Stars meet. At the Gateway Challenge and St. Louis Classic, she won beam. She finished eleventh all-around at the State Championships. Jessica placed second on beam at Regionals.
