Avril Hayes was born on April 12, 1997. She trained at US Gold until 2006. She then moved to WOGA. She is currently coaches by Evgeny Marchenko and Laurie Dix. She will graduate from high school in 2015.
In 2006, Avril competed level seven. She qualified for the State Championships in the silver division. She moved up to level eight in 2007. She placed in the top ten at the WOGA Classic. At the Byers Invitational, she finished third on vault and fourth on bars. Avril placed tenth all-around at the State Championships. She qualified for Regionals where she finished in the top fifteen.
Avril moved up to level nine in 2008. She finished third on vault at the AOGC Invitational. She had a solid meet at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished tenth all-around. Avril ended her season at the Level 9 Western Championships. She moved up to level ten in 2009. She placed third on bars at the WOGA Classic. She finished second on vault and third on bars at the Great West Gym Fest. Avril competed at States and Regionals. In 2010, she won vault at the WOGA Classic. She placed second on vault and fourth on bars at the Houston National Invitational. SHe again competed at Regionals.
