Sara Heldenbrand was born on October 29, 1995. She trains at Premier Gymnastics in Nebraska. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2007, Sara competed level eight. She won vault and placed second all-around at Regionals. She continued competing level eight in 2008. She finished twelfth all-around at Regionals. Sara moved up to level nine in 2009. She won bars at the Classic For The Cure meet. At the Chow's Rising Stars Challenge, she placed first all-around. Sara placed second on bars at the Long Beach Open. At the Harley Davidson meet, she won bars, floor and the all-around. Sara finished sixth all-around at Regionals. She competed at Westerns.
Sara began competing level ten in 2010. She finished third on bars at both the New Year Invitational and IGI Chicago Style. She finished 15th all-around at Regionals. In 2011, Sara finished first on floor and second all-around at the State Championships. Sara finished fifth all-around and third on beam at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.
