Taylor Helms will graduate from high school in 2015. She trains at Southeastern Gymnastics Center in North Carolina.

In 2005, Taylor competed level four in 2005. She finished first on vault and second all-around at the State Championships. Taylor moved up to level five in 2006. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Hang 10.0 Invitational. She won bars at the Turkey Tumble. She finished first on vault, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. Taylor moved up to level six in 2007. She won floor and the all-around at the Everest Cup. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. Taylor competed level seven in 2009. She won floor at the Flip Fest Invitational. SHe placed second all-around at the Hilton Head Island Invitational. She finished third all-around at the WOGA Classic. She won bars at the Charleston Cup. At the National Gymnastics Challenge, she finished first on bars and the all-around. Taylor won all five gold medals at the State Championships. She placed second on bars at the Region 7 Invitational.

Taylor competed level eight in 2010. She won floor at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She placed second all-around at the Sweetheart meet. At the Charleston Cup, she won beam and floor. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault and floor. She placed second all-around. Taylor moved up to level nine in 2011. She finished second on beam at the Metroplex Challenge. Taylor placed second on vault and beam at the Sweetheart Invite. At the National Gymnastics Challenge, she finished second on vault. She placed third on vault at the State Championships. Taylor finished fifth all-around at Regionals. She finished eighth all-around at Easterns.
