Sydney Henderson was born on July 16, 1995. She trains at West Valley Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2003, Sydney competed level five. She finished third on bars at the High-Tech Invitational. She placed in the top twenty at the State Championships. In 2005, Sydney won bars at the State Championships. She competed one level six meet in 2006, winning bars at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. Sydney moved up to level seven in 2007. She won floor and the all-around at the Vegas Cup. She placed second on bars at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. Sydney finished third all-around at the State Championships. She placed third on beam and second on floor.
Sydney moved up to level eight in 2008. She finished second all-around at the Wine Country Classic. She finished in the top twenty at both the State and Regional Championships. She competed level nine in 2009. She finished fourth all-around at the Hilton Head Island Invitational and LA Classic. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. Sydney did not compete all-around for most of the 2010 season. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won bars and placed fifth all-around. Sydney competed at Westerns.
