Sally Hesby was born on October 26, 1993. She trains at Twin City Twisters. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2009, Sally competed level seven. She finished fourth on vault at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed first on vault and third all-around at the Northern Lights Classic. In 2010, she finished second all-around at the Gopher Invite. She placed third all-around at the Winter Challenge. At the Rising Stars Invitational, she won vault, bars, and the all-around. Sally placed third all-around at the State Championships.

Sally moved up to level eight in 2011. She finished third all-around at the Gopher Invite. She placed second on vault at the Winter Challenge. At the Northern Lights Classic, she won vault. She placed third all-around. Sally finished fifth all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.
