On December 18, 1997, Kristen Heuston was born. She trains at Northwest Kids Sports Complex in Corpus Christi, Texas. She is coached by Shane Sanders.
In 2005, Kristen competed in trampoline and tumbling. She won regionals as a level five tumbler. She went on the win nationals. She was named to the National TOPs Team in 2006. She competed as a level seven at the Space City Qualifier in 2007. She finished first on floor and second on beam. Kristen placed fifth all-around. At the WOGA Classic, she competed as a level eight. She finished in the top ten. In May, she tested elite. She was named to the National TOPs Team in the fall.
Kristen competed as a level nine and hopes pre-elite in 2008. She qualified to hopes with great results at the Metroplex Challenge. She finished second on vault and bars. She finished fourth all-around. At the Parkette Invitational Elite Qualifier, Kristen finished third all-around. She won vault. As a level nine, she finished fourth all-around at the Texas State Qualifier. Her last meet of the season was the US Challenge. She finished tewlfth overall. She moved up to level ten in 2009. She finished second all-around at the Mary Lou Retton Invitational. She won vault and beam. In 2010, Kristen competed level nine. She won vault and beam at the Houston National Invitational. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. Kristen returned to level ten in 2011. She placed fourth on vault at the Tiger Classic.
