Hilary Green was born on August 16, 1996. She trained at Omega Gymnastics in North Carolina through the 2009 season. She then moved to Apollo Gymnastics in Virginia. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2006, Hilary competed level four. She won beam and the all-around at the Judges Cup. She competed level six in 2007. She finished first on vault and bars at the LGA Fun Meet. Hilary competed level seven in 2009. She finished first on vault and bars at the Flippin Hearts Invite. She won floor at the Hang 10.0 Invitational. At the KPAC Cup, she won beam. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships.

Hilary competed level eight in 2010. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level nine in 2011. She won vault at the Excalibur Cup. At the Derby Classic, she placed second all-around. Hilary only competed on uneven bars at Regionals.
