Brianna Higgins was born on July 6, 1995. She trained at US Airborne until the spring of 2009. She then moved to Gedderts' Twistars. After the 2010 season, Brianna began training at R-Athletics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2005, Brianna competed level six. In 2007, she competed level eight. She won the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She continued competing level eight in 2008. She placed third on bars at the IGI Chicago Style. At the US Airborne Invitational, she won vault and the all-around. In 2009, Brianna won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the US Airborne Invitational, she finished first on floor and the all-around. Brianna placed second on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished third all-around. She won vault.

She moved up to level nine in 2010. She won beam and placed second all-around at the Twistars Invitational. At the Battle of the Champions meet, she won vault and the all-around. Brianna placed second on vault and beam at the For Love or Money meet. She finished third on vault, bars and beam at the Byers Invitational. At the State Championships, she won vault and the all-around. Brianna won floor and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she won the all-around title! She also finished second on vault. She opened the 2010-2011 season at the Gymnastics on the Grand meet. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around. She then won the all-around title at the Twistars Invitational.
