Renata Hilbourn was born on August 4, 1999. She trained at Gymnastics Center of Chattanooga until moving to Texas in 2007. She then began training at Metroplex. She will graduate from high school in 2017.
In 2005, Renata competed level four. She won bars and placed second all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2006. She placed third all-around at the State Championships. Renata finished second on floor in 2007 at the Texas North State Championships. She competed level seven in 2009. She finished first on beam and the all-around at the Texas Prime meet. At the WOGA Classic, she placed second all-around. Renata won vault, beam and the all-around at the Alamo Classic. At the Rose City Classic, she won beam. She placed first on beam at the State Championships.
Renata moved up to level eight in 2010. She won the all-around title at the Texas Prime meet. She placed second on vault at the Metroplex Challenge and second on beam at the WOGA Classic. At the Pikes Peak Cup, she won beam and the all-around. Renata finished second on floor and eighth all-around at Regionals. She competed level nine in 2011. She finished third all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. She won floor at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, she placed second on beam. She finished eighth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed fifth on beam and 20th all-around.
