Shelby Hilton was born on May 28, 1993. She trains at Tampa Bay Turners. She will graduate from high school in 2011.
In 2005, Shelby competed level seven. She moved up to level eight in 2006. She placed first on bars at the GymQuarters Invitational. She won the all-around title at Regionals. In 2007, Shelby competed level nine. She won the all-around title at the Tampa Bay Turners Invitational. She placed first on vault and bars at Regionals, where she also finished fourth all-around. At Easterns, Shelby finished 13th all-around. She placed third on floor and fourth on bars.
Shelby began competing level ten in 2008. She finished first on bars at Regionals. In 2009, she placed fifth all-around at Regionals. She finished 24th all-around at JO Nationals. In 2010, Shelby placed second on beam at the GymQuarters Invitational. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on floor and fourth all-around. She finished 34th all-around at JO Nationals. In 2011, Shelby finished second on vault and floor at the Tampa Bay Classic. She won floor at the Daytona Beach Open. At the IGI Chicago Style, she won beam. Shelby finished first on bars, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won the all-around title. She competed at JO Nationals.
