Lauren Hunter Moore, known as Hunter, was born a Georgia Peach on June 13, 1993 just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Hunter soon moved to Alabama and started her gymnastics career with a Mom and Me class at the age of three and a half. She then did a year in tumbling before joining the team with Cullman Gymnastics club as a level four.

Hunter had a love for gymnastics. She never walked through the house, she did cartwheels down the hall. It seemed that she could never get enough. All of her spare time was spent either in the gym or on the trampoline. Seeing that she wanted to improve, she then changed gyms to Calhoun Twisters in Decatur Alabama. Here Hunter really showed her devotion. She would be picked up directly from school, eat and change in the van during her 45 minute drive to the gym. She worked out five days a week.

In August 2002, she moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she joined Team Central Gymnastics Academy. Here is where she really took off. Hunter was the 2004 Level 6 State Champion, 2005 Level 7 State Champion, 2006 Level 8 Regional Bar Champion, and 2007 Level 9 Regional Bar Champion. She also qualified as a Western Team Member. She competed level ten in 2010. She finished second on vault and bars at the Gatewell Challenge. She placed third on vault at the State Championships. Hunter finished first on floor and fifth all-around at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.

Hunter has been home schooled since the 5th grade. Now she is currently taking four classes at her high school and completes three classes online as part of her home school. Her favorite class ia Mandarin Chinese and her least favorite two classes are Honors Physics and Honors Algebra II. Hunter is now a Level 10 at St. Louis Gym Centre. This year Hunter has added a few new elements and is looking to improve on her resume. Hunter would like to add a National Championship to her title and obtain a scholarship to a College with a good medical program. Hunter has had the aspiration of becoming a Cardiologist since 2002.
