Brittany Holmes was born on July 24, 1993. She trains at Gedderts' Twistars. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2004, Brittany competed level six. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed level eight in 2005. She qualified to Regionals. She continued competing level eight in 2006, again qualifying for Regionals. In 2007, Brittany competed level nine. She placed second on bars at the California Classic. She qualified for Easterns, but only competed on two events. In 2008. Brittany competed level ten. She finished first on vault, floor and the all-around at the For Love or Money meet. At JO Nationals, she placed 24th all-around.

She continued competing level ten in 2009. She won floor and the all-around at the Battle of the Champions meet. At the Arena Classic, she placed second all-around. She won bars at the Motown Madness meet. At the State Championships, Brittany won floor and the all-around. She placed second on vault and third on floor at Regionals. In 2010, Brittany won vault and floor at the Twistars Invitational. She won the Battle of the Champions meet. At the Sand Diego Classic, she placed second all-around. Brittany won vault and floor at the Byers Invitational. She placed second all-around at the State Championships. She won beam. At Regionals, she won beam and the all-around. She ended her season placing 17th all-around at JO Nationals. She placed seventh on beam.
