Chelsea Howes was born on March 29, 1994. She trained at Classics Gymnastics through the 2005 season. She trained at American Twisters in 2006. She competed for Bieger's in 2007. She competed for Orlando Metro Gymnastics 2009-2010 before moving to WOGA. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2001 and 2002, Chelsea made the National TOPs Diamond Team. Chelsea was a member of the National TOPs Team in 2003, 2004 and 2005. She competed level eight in 2006. She finished fifth all-around at the Regional Championships. Chelsea competed level nine in 2009. She won beam at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Palm Beach Invitational. Chelsea finished first on bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Tampa Bay Turner's Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed first on beam and second all-around. Chelsea won bars and the all-around at Regionals. At Easterns, she placed first on bars, fifth on beam and third all-around.
