Jillian Hudson was born on June 17, 1992. She trained at Galaxy Gymnastics during her club career. She graduated from high school in 2010.

In 2004, Jillian competed level nine. She finished fourth on floor at Regionals. She continued competing level nine in 2005. She finished second at the Buckeye Classic. She placed tenth all-around at Regionals. She competed at Easterns. Jillian began competing level ten in 2006. She finished ninth at Regionals. In 2007, Jillian placed third all-around at the Go For It Classic. She won vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault. She finished fourth all-around. She finished eighth on vault and 17th all-around at JO Nationals.

Jillian continued competing level ten in 2008. She won vault at the State Championships. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals. She finished 24th all-around at JO Nationals. In 2009, Jillian finished second all-around at the Team Challenge. She won vault and floor at the State Championships. She won vault at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she finished seventh on floor and fourth all-around, making the JO National Team! She also won the floor and all-around titles at the New York High School State Championships. In 2010, Jillian defended her all-around title at the New York High School State Championships, becoming the first gymnast to win consecutive all-around titles. She also won vault, beam and floor. As a level ten, she finished third all-around at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.
