Julia Huebert was born on February 16, 1998. She began gymnastics at the age of three. She trains at Eagles Gymnastics Centre. She will graduate from high school in 2016.

In 2006, Julia competed level five in the spring. She won beam at the All American meet. She moved up to level six in the fall. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Turkey Trot. In the spring, she finished fourth all-around at the Spring States. She also earned the title of State Floor Champion. In 2008, Julia competed level eight. She finished third on beam at the Pikes Peak Cup. At States, she finished first on beam, third on floor and fifth all-around. SHe ended her season by placing fourth all-around at Regionals. She earned a silver medal on beam.

Julia continued competing level eight in 2009. She won the all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational. At the Pikes Peak Cup, she won vault and placed second all-around. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the Show Me Invitational. At the St. Louis Classic, she finished second all-around. Julia ended her season by winning beam, floor and the all-around at Regionals. She placed second on vault.

In 2010, Julia competed level nine. She finished second all-around at the Rising Stars Invitational. At the Eagles Winter Invitational, she won bars, beam, floor and the all-around. Julia finished third all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. She placed second all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She won beam and floor. She again finished second at the St. Louis Classic. At States, she won beam and placed fourth all-around. Julia finished sixth all-around at Regionals, making Westerns. She only competed on floor at Westerns. In 2011, Julia won all five gold medals at the Eagles Winter Invitational. She won the all-around title at the Pikes Peak Cup. At the Northern Lights Classic, she won beam. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished fourth all-around. Julia placed tenth on floor at Westerns.
