Hayden Ward was born on December 25, 1992. She trained at Bart Conner Gymnastics through the 2007 season. She then moved to Dynamo. Hayden will graduate from high school in 2011.
Hayden competed level seven in 2004. She won beam at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She moved up to level eight in 2005. She qualified to Regionals. Hayden competed level nine in 2006. She finished eighth at Regionals. At Westerns, she finished 25th all-around. Hayden continued competing level nine in 2007. She placed second on floor and fourth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she finished fourth on bars and eighth all-around. Hayden moved up to level ten in 2008. She finished 12th all-around at Regionals.
Hayden continued competing level ten in 2009. She placed third on floor at the Lady Luck Invitational. She won vault and finished second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won bars and finished third all-around. Hayden placed sixth all-around and fifth on bars at JO Nationals. In 2010, Hayden won bars at the Metroplex Challenge and beam at the Dynamo Classic. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on bars and fourth all-around. She finished her season by placing eighth all-around and sixth on bars at JO Nationals.
