Hillary Wright was born on September 1, 1991. She trained at DeVeau's School of Gymnastics. Hillary attended Cathedral High School for high school where she was the class of 2010. She attends Indiana University Bloomington.

She qualified to National TOPs Testing in 2001. In 2004, Hillary competed as a level nine. She won the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. Hillary won Regionals. She won a bronze medal on bars at Easterns. She moved up to level ten in 2005. She finished second on vault and bars at States. Her final meet of the season was Regionals. Hillary has continued competing as a level ten in 2006 and 2007. She has qualified to Regionals each year. She competed beam only at the 2008 San Diego Classic. She retired from gymnastics after the season.
