Fatima Hylton was born on March 14, 1996. She trains at Desert Lights Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2014.
In 2007, Fatima competed level five. She won vault at both the School Days Invitational and PGA Invitational. She finished first on vault at the Tumbleweeds Halloween meet. She placed second on vault at the State Championships. In the spring of 2008, she finished first on floor and the all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. She won vault and the all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. Fatima won vault at the Hardrock Invitational. At the Arizona Spring Classic, she won vault and floor.
Fatima moved up to level six in the fall. She finished first on floor and the all-around at the School Days Invitational. She won the all-around title at the PGA Invitational. At the Halloween meet, she placed first on bars, floor and the all-around. Fatima won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She immediately began competing level seven in 2009. She placed fifth all-around at the Kim Bird Invitational. At the State Championships, she placed third on vault.
In 2010, Fatima competed level eight. She won vault, floor and the all-around at the Winter Sun Invitational. At the San Diego Classic, she won vault, beam and the all-around. Fatima won floor at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational and Long Beach Open. At the State Championships, she placed first on vault and second all-around. Fatima won vault at Regionals. Fatima competed level nine in 2011. She finished first on vault and second all-around at both the National Judges Cup and Lady Luck Invitational. She placed first on vault and the all-around at the Fiesta Bowl Invitational. At the State Championships, she won vault, floor and the all-around. Fatima won vault at Regionals. She competed at Westerns.
