Ilana Gordon was born on December 14, 1995. She trained at Peninsula Gymnastics until the summer of 2011. She then moved to Airborne. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2003, Ilana competed level four in the spring. She finished third on vault at the Pegasus Classic. She moved up to level five in the fall. She finished in the top twenty at the State Championships. Ilana competed level six in 2004. She won vault at the Zone Championships. She placed fourth on vault and bars at the State Championships. She made the National TOPs "B" Team. She competed level seven in 2005. She won vault at the Optional Invite. At the State Championships, she finished sixth all-around. In the fall, she made the National TOPs "B" Team.

Ilana competed level eight in 2006. She finished first on floor at the Golden State Classic. She placed third on vault at the state Championships. She competed at Regionals. Ilana competed as a hopes elite in 2007 at the US Challenge. she competed level nine in 2009. She placed fourth on vault at the State Championships. In July, she competed at the World Maccabiah Games where she placed second on vault. She also helped the United States place second. Ilana competed level ten in 2011. She finished third on vault at both the Lady Luck Invitational and National Gymnastics Festival. She won vault at the IGI Chicago Style and Spirit of the Flame Challenge. She placed third on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third on vault and tenth all-around. She finished in the top ten at the JO National Invitational Tournament.
