Lauren Israel was born on October 3, 1994. She trained at GAGE through the 2010 season. She then moved to Xtreme. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

In 2006, Lauren competed level eight. She won bars at the Starz and Stripes Invitational. She placed first on bars, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. She finished first on bars and beam at Regionals. She placed fourth all-around. Lauren moved up to level nine in 2007. She won beam and the all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed second all-around. Lauren won bars at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed tenth on bars and beam. She finished 14th all-around. Lauren did not compete in 2008 or 2009.

Lauren competed level ten in 2010. She finished in the top fifteen at the State Championships. In 2011, Lauren placed fifth all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. She finished fourth all-around at the Gateway Challenge. At the Buckeye Classic, she finished third all-around. Lauren placed second on bars at the Gasparilla Classic. At the State Championships, she placed second on bars. Lauren also finished second on bars at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals.
