Kelsey Jehl was born on May 24, 1997. She trained at Lehigh Valley Sports Academy through the spring of 2005. She then moved to Parkettes. Kelsey will graduate from high school in 2015.

In 2005, Kelsey competed level four. She won vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the Friendship Classic. She competed level five in 2006. She placed second on beam and floor at the Parkette Invitational. She finished second on floor and fifth all-around at Sectionals. In 2007, Kelsey finished first on floor and second all-around as a level six at Sectionals. She placed first on beam and second on floor at the Parkette Invitational. She competed level seven in 2008. She finished fourth on floor at the National Judges Cup. She then moved up to level eight. She finished first on beam and third all-around at the Parkette Invitational.

Kelsey continued competing level eight in 2009. She finished fourth on beam at the Maryland Classic. At the Excalibur Cup, she placed third on beam. Kelsey finished tenth all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level nine in 2010. She finished in the top ten at the Magical Classic and Excalibur Cup. She finished in the top twenty all-around at the State Championships. In 2011, Kelsey finished first on floor at the Parkette Invitational. She placed fourth on floor at the State Championships. Kelsey finished in the top fifteen at Regionals.
