Sally Jenks was born on August 8, 1997. She trained at HCL Gym Express through the 2007 season. She then moved to New England Sports Academy (NESA). Sally will graduate from high school in 2016.

In 2006, Sally competed level four. She placed first on vault and third all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level five in 2007. In 2008, Sally competed level six. She won vault and placed third all-around at the Boston Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars and floor. Sally placed third all-around. She skipped level seven and competed level eight in 2009. She finished third on vault at the Brestyan Invitational. At the East Coast Classic, she won bars. Sally finished third on vault at the American Flyer's Cup. At the State Championships, she placed third on vault. Sally finished fifth on vault at Regionals.

Sally continued competing level eight in 2010. She placed first on vault, bars and the all-around at the Tim Daggett Invitational. At the Starlight Invitational, she won vault and the all-around. Sally won the all-around title at the State Championships. She placed third all-around at Regionals. Sally moved up to level nine in 2011. She won vault and bars at the Presidential Classic. At the Starlight Invitational, she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around. Sally placed first on vault and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished first on vault and bars. She placed third all-around. At Easterns, Sally finished sixth on vault at Easterns.

Sally began competing level ten during the 2011-2012 season. She opened her season by winning vault, floor and the all-around at the Yellow Jackets Holiday Invite.
