Khayla Jennings was born on February 10, 2000. Her sister, Alexis, reached level eight. Khayla trains at Monmouth Gymnastics.

In 2007, she competed level four. She won the floor at the State Championships. She made the Diamond National TOPs Team. She competed level seven in 2008. She won floor at the All Star Classic. She swept the gold medals at the Flipping Into Fall. At the Rutgers Classic, she won bars, floor and the all-around. She made her second Diamond National TOPs Team. In January, she won beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships.

She moved up to level eight in 2009. In the fall, she qualified to the National TOPs Team. In 2010, she won bars and beam at the Star Struck Invitational. She won vault and placed second on floor at the State Championships. She tested hopes at the Buckeye Classic.
