Jenna Fitzpatrick was born on July 18, 1995. She has a younger sister Bailey who is also a gymnast. Jenna trained at M & M Gymnastics until the summer of 2005. She then switched to Swiss Turners. Jenna returned to M & M two years later. She will graduate from high school in 2014. Jenna participated in the TOPs program. She made the National TOPs Team in 2004 and 2005. In 2006, she made the National TOPs "B" Team.
In 2005, she competed as a level eight. She won the all-around at the Salto Invitational. In the summer, Jenna competed as a TOPS elite at the US Challenge. She continued competing as a level eight in 2006. Jenna finished second on bars at the Circle of Stars Invitational and Buckeye Classic. At the Level 8 Regional Championships, she finished third on bars and sixth all-around!
Jenna moved up to level nine for the 2007 season. She finished fourth all-around at the Midwest Challenge. At the Harley Davidson Invitational, Jenna also placed fourth all-around. She won a silver medal on bars. At States, Jenna finished third on vault and fourth on bars! She ended her level nine season at Regionals. After the level nine season, Jenna qualified to hopes pre-elite. She competed at the US Challenge. After being injured, she returned in late 2008 at the Hamline Holiday Spirit Invitational. She earned her junior pre-elite compulsory score.
She moved up to level ten in 2009. She placed second on bars at the Midwest Challenge. She also competed at the Arena Classic. At States, she won a silver medal on bars. She ended her season at Regionals. In 2010, she finished first on vault at the Midwest Challenge. She placed second all-around at the Blizzard Invitational. She won a bronze medal on vault at the Circle of Stars. At the Harley Davidson Invite, she finished fourth all-around. Jenna placed fourth all-around at the State Championships. She placed second on bars and third on vault. She ended her season at Regionals, placing in the top twenty.
