Jorie Hall was born on May 5, 1992. She trained at Dardano's until 2005. She then moved to Colorado Gymnastics Institute. Jorie graduated from high school in 2010.
In 2004, Jorie began competing level eight. She won all five gold medals at the Vegas Vacation meet. In 2006, Jorie finished second all-around at the Pikes Peak Cup. She won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals. Jorie moved up to level nine in 2007. She won beam and the all-around at the State Championships. She finished fifth all-around at Regionals. She placed first on beam, eighth on floor and fourth all-around at Westerns. Jorie began competing level ten in 2008. She finished third on beam at the San Diego Classic. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Battle in Seattle. Jorie finished in the top ten at the State Championships. She placed third on beam at Regionals.
Jorie continued competing level ten in 2009. She finished first on floor at the Alamo Classic. She placed second all-around at the Golden State Classic. At the State Championships, she placed first on beam and third all-around. Jorie finished third on vault and sixth all-around at Regionals. She competed at JO Nationals. In 2010, Jorie finished second all-around at the Denver Winterfest. She won vault and beam at the AOGC Invitational. She finished first on beam at the Pikes Peak Cup. At the Manhattan Classic, she placed third all-around. Jorie won beam at the State Championships. She finished third all-around. She competed at Regionals.
As a freshman at Denver in 2011, Jorie competed on beam thirteen times, floor four times and vault three times. She won three event titles on vault. Jorie won beam at Regionals to qualify for the NCAA Championships as an individual.
