Jaida Lawrence was born on February 22, 1994. She trains at New England Gymnastics Express. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2004, Jaida competed level seven. She placed second on bars at the State Championships. She finished fourth all-around. She moved up to level eight in 2005. She finished second on vault at Regionals. In 2006, Jaida competed level nine. She finished first on vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third on vault. Jaida competed at Easterns. She began competing level ten in 2007. She won all five gold medals at the DGS Northeast Invite. At the American Flyers Cup, she placed second on vault. Jaida finished second on bars and fourth all-around at the State Championships. She competed on uneven bars at Regionals.

Jaida finished first on vault at the 2008 Aquafina Team Challenge. She placed first on vault and second all-around at the American Flyer's Cup. At Regionals, she finished fifth all-around. Jaida competed at JO Nationals. In 2009, Jaida won bars, beam and the all-around at the American Flyer's Cup. She finished first on vault and third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she won vault. She placed fourth on vault at JO Nationals. Jaida finished first on vault and floor at the 2010 Cancun Classic. She won bars at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed first on vault, floor and the all-around at the Team Challenge. She finished third all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, she won vault, bars, floor and the all-around. She placed second on vault at Regionals. Jaida competed at JO Nationals. She finished third all-around at the 2011 Daytona Beach Open. She placed first on vault at the State Championships. At Regionals, Jaida won vault. She finished second all-around. Jaida finished fifth on vault at JO Nationals. She competed at the World Championships for Jamaica.
