Julia McLaughlin will graduate from high school in 2015. She trains at Chantilly Academy.
In 2006, Julia competed level four. She moved up to level five in 2007. She finished second on vault at the State Championships. She continued competing level five in 2008. She placed in the top ten at the State Championships. She moved up to level seven in 2009. She placed fifth all-around at the New Year Opener. She placed third on beam at the Gasparilla Classic. At the State Championships, she finished fourth on beam.
Julia competed level eight in 2010. She finished third on vault and beam at the Circle of Stars meet. At the State Championships, she placed third on beam. She moved up to level nine in 2011. She finished fourth on bars at the New Year Opener meet. At the March Madness meet, she placed first on beam and second all-around. She finished third all-around at the State Championships. She finished in the top fifteen at Regionals.
