Jennifer Nguyen was born on June 14, 1992. She has trained at All Olympia Gymnastics Center for several years. She was a National TOPS Team Member in 2003.

In the spring of 2001, Jennifer competed as a level five. She won the St. Patrick's Day Invite and Charter Oak Invitational. At her home meet she finished second all-around. In the fall, Jennifer moved up to level six. She finished second all-around at the Sectional Championships. At States, Jennifer finished fourth all-around with medal finishes on vault and bars. She continued competing as a level six in 2002. She won the Spring into Summer Invitational and was second all-around at the All Olympia Invitational. Jennifer swept the gold medals at the Sectional Championships. At the Level 6 State Championships, she won the vault and all-around titles!

Jennifer advanced to level seven in 2003. She finished second all-around at the Flips USA Invitational. Jennifer placed fourth all-around at the San Diego Classic. She won the silver all-around medal at the California Classic. At the Level 7 State Championships, she finished fourth all-around. Jennifer competed as a level eight and nine in 2004. She won the bronze medal at the Friendship Challenge as a level eight. Jennifer did nine the rest of the season. At States, she qualified to Regionals. In 2005, Jennifer moved up to level ten. She placed fourth all-around at the Level 10 State Championships. At Regionals, she qualified to JO Nationals! Jennifer only competed beam at JO Nationals.

She missed the 2006 season because of an injury. In 2007, she competed at the Byers Sacramento Invitational. At the Level 10 State Championships, she placed second all-around. She won bronze medals on beam and floor. She ended her season with a tenth place finish at Regionals. She placed fourth on beam. She finished second on bars and floor at the 2008 Golden State Friendship Challenge. She placed third all-around. Jennifer finished third all-around again at States. She placed second on beam and floor. At Regionals, she finished ninth all-around.

In 2009, Jennifer finished third all-around at the Surf City Classic. She won a silver medal on beam. At the All Olympia Invitational, she won a silver medal on bars. At States, she won uneven bars. She finished third on floor. She finished eleventh all-around at Regionals. In November, Jennifer signed with Southern Utah University.
