Jessie Jordan was born on March 19, 1994. She trained at Dana's through the 2004 season. She then moved to Houston Gymnastics Academy. She followed her coach, Alexander Alexandrov, to Houston Gymnastics Center in 2008. After his return to Russia, she briefly trained at Mihaiuc Gymnastics Academy in 2009 before settling at Cypress Gymnastics later that year. She moved to Zenith Elite after the 2010 season. Jessie is a member of the class of 2012, but plans to graduate in December 2011 to join LSU for the 2012 season.
In 2003, Jessie competed level seven. She won vault and floor at the State Championships. She finished second all-around. She moved up to level eight in 2004. She finished in the top ten at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed second on vault and third on floor and the all-around. She competed level nine in 2006. Jessie won floor at the Svetlana Invitational. She finished third on floor at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished second on vault and fourth all-around. Jessie finished second on vault at Westerns. She moved up to level ten in 2010. She finished fifth all-around at Regionals. At JO Nationals, she placed sixth on floor and in the all-around.
Jessie continued competing level ten in 2008. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished first on beam and second all-around. Jessie placed second on beam and seventh all-around at JO Nationals. Later that year, Jessie tore her Achilles. She bounced back to finished fourth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed third on vault and sixth all-around. Jessie finished third on vault and tenth all-around at JO Nationals. She tested elite in 2010. She finished third all-around at the Metroplex Challenge. She won vault at the Houston National Invitational.
