Katie Brown was born on January 14, 1995. She trains at Bart Conner Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
In 2005, Katie competed level six. She finished second all-around at the Flips Center meet. She won vault, bars, beam and the all-around at the Zoo meet. At the Trojan Classic, she placed second all-around. Katie continued competing level six in 2006. She won all five gold medals at the Gold Cup. Katie competed level seven in 2007. She finished second on vault at the National Judges Cup. Katie competed level eight during the 2008 season. She finished second all-around at the Nadia Comaneci meet. At the State Championships, she placed third all-around and first on floor. Katie finished 15th all-around at Regionals.
Katie moved up to level nine in 2009. She finished third all-around at the Spirit of the Flame Challenge. At the Nadia Comaneci meet, she finished second all-around. Katie won all five gold medals at the Creole Classic. She finished fourth all-around at first on bars at Regionals. At Westerns, Katie placed fifth on vault, third on beam, and fifth all-around. Katie moved up to level ten in 2010. She finished first all-around at both the New Year Invitational and Vegas Cup. At the Nadia Comaneci meet, she placed third all-around. Katie placed third all-around and first on vault at the State Championships.
In 2011, Katie finished third all-around at the Nadia Comaneci meet. She won floor. At the Metroplex Challenge, she placed second all-around and first on beam. Katie finished third all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished seventh all-around. At JO Nationals, she placed 18th in the all-around and 7th on vault.
