Kaitlin Cowles was born on February 11, 1995. She trains at New England Gymnastics Express. She will graduate from high school in 2013.
She began competing as a level four in 2004. In 2005, Kaitlin competed level six. She finished in the top fifteen at the State Championships. Kaitlin competed level seven in 2006. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. Kaitlin moved up to level eight in 2007. She placed third all-around at the Northeast Invite. She won bars at the American Flyers Cup. She won bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She placed second on vault and beam. At Regionals, she placed tenth all-around. She moved up to level nine in 2008. She finished first on beam and floor at the American Flyer's Cup. Kaitlin began competing level ten in 2009. She swept the gold medals at the American Flyer's Cup. She placed fifth all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she placed fifteenth all-around.
Kaitlin had a great 2010 season. She placed fifth all-around at the Cancun Classic. At the sand Dollar Invitational, she finished in the top ten. She placed third all-around at the Team Challenge. At the State Championships, she placed second all-around. Kaitlin finished ninth all-around at Regionals. She ended her season at the JO NIT.
