Kelli Martin was born on May 10, 1996. She trains at Team Central in Missouri. She will graduate from high school in 2014.

In 2005, Kelli competed level five. She won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. She competed level seven in 2007. She finished second on bars at the State Championships. In 2008, Kelli moved up to level eight. She placed first all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. At the State Championships, she placed third on beam. Kelli won floor at Regionals. She finished second on beam and in the all-around.

Kelli began competing level nine in 2009. She won beam, floor and the all-around at the Meet Me In St. Louis meet. She finished first on bars at the Gateway Challenge. She finished third on beam at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished eighth all-around. In 2010, Kelli finished third all-around at the Sand Dollar Invitational. She placed first on vault, beam and the all-around at the Gateway Challenge. She won vault and floor at the St. Louis Classic. At the State Championships, she won beam. Kelli finished fifth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed sixth on vault. She moved up to level ten in 2011. She finished fifth all-around at the Meet Me in St. Louis meet. She finished third on floor at the Circle of Stars meet. At the St. Louis Classic, she placed third on beam.
