Kennedy Evans was born on September 25, 1997. She trained at Midwest Twisters until April 2008, She then moved to LaFleur's Gymnastics. She will graduate from high school in 2016.
Kennedy was the Level 4 State Champion on bars and floor. She competed level seven in 2008. She moved up to level eight in 2009. She finished third all-around at both the Daytona Beach Open and Harley Invitational. She won bars at the OGC Invitational. She finished second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, Kennedy placed second on floor, fourth on bars and sixth all-around. Kennedy was a member of the Super 8 Wisconsin Regional Team.
In 2010, Kennedy competed level nine. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the Midwest Challenge. Kennedy won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed third all-around at the Circle of Stars. She won beam at the Harley Invitational. At the State Championships, she finished first on bars and second all-around. Kennedy placed second on beam, third on bars and fifth all-around at Regionals. At Westerns, she placed third on bars and 14th all-around.
She began competing level ten in 2011. Kennedy finished first on bars and the all-around at the Circle of Stars meet. At the Wisconsin Dells Vacation Classic, Kennedy finished first all-around. SHe placed second on beam and floor. She placed 14th overall at the IGI Chicago Style and second overall at the Harley Davidson Invitational. She traveled to Florida for the Tim Rand Invitational and finished fifth in the all-around. At the Level 10 State Championships, Kennedy won a bronze medal on uneven bars and in the all-around. In addition, she won a silver medal on balance beam. She placed seventh in the all-around and fourth on floor exercise at the Level 10 Regionals. There, she qualified to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Long Beach, California. Kennedy concluded her 2011 season at the JO Nationals where she placed 25th in the all-around, 18th on uneven bars and 17th on floor exercise out of 57 gymnasts
