Katie Fiorilli was born on December 28, 1994. Katie has two sisters, Emily and Natalie, who are both collegiate gymnasts. Katie trained at Flytz USA through the 2004 season. She then moved to Gymnastics World in Ohio. She will graduate from high school in 2013.

Katie competed level five in the 2002-2003 season. She won vault, bars, floor and the all-around at The Cup. She also made the National TOPs Diamond Team in the latter half of 2002. She moved up to level six in 2004. She finished first on beam, floor and the all-around at the Flytz Classic. In 2005, Katie competed level seven. She finished first on vault, beam and the all-around at the Twistars Invitational. She finished third all-around at the Buckeye Classic. At the State Championships, Katie won vault, bars, floor and the all-around. She moved up to level eight in 2006. Katie finished second on floor at the IGI Chicago Style. She qualified to Regionals. In 2007, Katie finished first on bars and the all-around at the For Love or Money meet. She won floor and the all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, Katie placed second on beam and third all-around.

In 2008, Katie began competing level nine. She won bars, beam, floor and the all-around at the Stars and Stripes meet. She won beam at the IGI Chicago Style. Katie qualified to Easterns. In 2009, she won floor and the all-around at the Rock-n-Roll Classic. She won the same two gold medals at the Circle of the Stars meet. At Regionals, she placed third all-around. Katie finished second on vault and floor. She finished 12th all-around at Easterns. She won a silver medal with the United States team at the International Children's Games that summer. Katie moved up to level ten in 2010. She had strong performances at the Buckeye Classic, IGI Chicago Style, CGA Coaches Spectacular and Arnold Gymnastics Challenge. She finished just outside the top ten at the State Championships. She competed at Regionals.
