Katie Kuehl was born on August 15, 1994. She trains at Team Central in Missouri. She will graduate from high school in 2012.

In 2006, Katie competed level six. She won bars, beam and the all-around at the State Championships. She moved up to level seven in 2007. Katie won bars, floor and the all-around at the State Championships. In 2008, Katie competed level eight. She finished third on floor at the IGI Chicago Style. She placed first on beam and second all-around at the State Championships. At Regionals, she finished second on bars.

Katie began competing level nine in 2010. She finished first on bars at the Crossroads Classic. She won beam at the Gateway Challenge. At the IGI Chicago Style, she finished third on bars. Katie won bars at the St. Louis Classic. Katie moved up to level ten in 2011. She finished first on beam at the Meet Me in St. Louis meet. Katie finished second on bars at the St. Louis Classic. At the State Championships, she won bars and the all-around. Katie placed third on bars and eighth all-around at Regionals. She competed at the JO National Invitational Tournament.
